A New Take on 360 Product Video Creation
Iconasys 360 Photography Turntables are also a great option for 360 product video creation. Iconasys Turntables are computer controlled (Mac, Windows, Linux) and can be purchased with the optional Shutter Stream 360 Product Photography + Video Software which can further automate the 360 Product Video creation workflow and control important variables required when shooting video. When using with a compatible camera, Shutter Stream 360 + Video Software provides users their ability to control their camera via mouse clicks (includes camera settings adjustments, focal point adjustments etc.) and will integrate camera video record start/stop with turntable rotation start/stop. This blog post will discuss workflow specific to the Custom Defined 360 Product Video Creation Mode.
Custom Defined Product Video Workflow
A new feature, in the Version 11 release of Shutter Stream 360 Product Photography + Video Software , is the ability to shoot a Custom Defined Video record sequence.
The Custom Defined Video mode provides creative freedom for users looking to create high quality product videos for use in web, eCommerce, marketing and social media channels. The workflow is straight forward, users are able to define a sequence of turntable actions based on:
A. Turntable Rotation Degrees
B. Turntable Rotation Direction (clockwise / counter clockwise
C. Wait Time in-between Actions (defined in milliseconds)
After defining turntable actions, users simply hit ‘Start’ and the software will automate the camera video record start/stop with turntable rotation sequence start/stop.
Additional notes:
- Custom Defined Video Profiles can be saved and later retained within the software for use at a later time.
- Users can define turntable speed settings (chose from 1 of 10 variable speed settings)
- Users have the ability to choose turntable ‘Ramp Speed’ to eliminate any jerk motions in between start and stop
