Shooting Suspended 360 Jewelry Photography using a Hanging Kit
The need to shoot 360 product images of items that won’t typically stand on their own is ever more apparent for the jewelry industry (such as 360 Necklace Photography and 360 Earring Photography). Especially with the emergence of 360 Product Photography on Amazon and other major marketplaces, vendors need a fast and efficient way to create 360 product photos of their entire product line.
Historically, the problem with shooting Suspended 360 necklace and earring photography was either or a combination of:
- Suspended 360 Jewelry Photography Solutions are VERY expensive
- Usability for shooting 360 Suspended Jewelry was very poor – often requiring users a lot of time and effort just to prep the product. This made even the thought of shooting suspended items in 360 daunting.
Iconasys has set out to solve both these problems by delivering a multi-functional 360 Jewelry Photography Turntable that can be used for both freestanding jewelry items (ex. rings, bracelets) and as a suspended turntable for 360 hanging object photography (ex. necklaces and earrings). While its not quite ready, we wanted to provide a teaser to show some 360 Jewelry Photography Examples we were able to create with our prototype:
