360 Spin Photography Notes
Although the dimmable LumiPad 360 Product Photography Lighting Panels would have done a great job for shooting this Wine Bottle in 360 Spin Photography, we created a High Key Lighting Technique using our 3X of our LED Studio Lights. We positioned 1 light on either side of the bottle then 1 light behind the bottle which was diffused a 2nd time (to minimize amount of light passing through the bottle while still allowing white background) using a 40 x 60″ Lighting Diffuser Kit. We set each of the side lights to about 50% dimming. We also used two white 20 x 30″ white foamboard sheets to help eliminate side reflections.
Using the Iconasys Silver Series LRG 360 Photography Turntable, 72 frame capture took ~3 minutes (automated process though Shutter Stream 360 Software in a turn, stop, snap workflow)
We applied some batch image editing in the Shutter Stream 360 Software. These included:
Rotate: adjusted the image 0.5 degrees CW as we had shot this slightly crooked (used the image alignment tool to help with this)
Levels: Minimal adjustments to white levels to achieve white background
