Hanging 360 Product Photography: Information & Notes

We had used a single LED Studio Light to light the product. This was placed to the front left of the product positioned at a 45-degree angle at set to 85% intensity. For the back lighting, we used a 24 x 24″ LumiPad LED Lighting Panel at 85% intensity. We also used 2X white 20 x 30″ white foamboard sheets (included with LumiPad 360 Lighting Kits) on either side of the hanging purse – this helped bounce light from the front positioned light back on to the subject.

The purse was suspended using the Silver MID/LRG Turntable hanging kit. We used the largest hanging kit plate and wrapped the excess chain from the purse around the hanging kit stem. We added some weights in the purse to help minimize wobble after turn/stop and added a 6 second pre-capture delay to ensure no movement of the purse during capture.

After the Hanging 360 Product Photography image capture was complete, images were edited using:

Lasso Tool – Batch removed the background from all frames
Sharpness – increased to 1.5
Add Frame – Added 150 pixels of white pixels to the bottom of the frame

These editing changes were made to all images in a batch proceeds using ‘Apply to All’ editing feature.
