360 Product View Example Notes
We used the Iconasys 4 Light LED Studio Kit to create a High Key Lighting Technique (to shoot 360 image set on white backgrounds). We positioned 2X lights at the background and the other 2 LED lights at the subject (drill press). When we set the correct exposure for the product, the background is blown out to white.
We shot a total of 72 frames (automated in a turn, stop, snap workflow) this process took ~2 1/2 minutes. Next, we applied some batch image editing in the Shutter Stream 360 Software. These included:
Levels: Minimal adjustments to white reference point to achieve white on turntable platform surface
Sharpness: Increased Sharpness by 1.5 to enhance image quality
Lasso Tool: Cut out bottom of frame as part of the frame
Rotate: Slight adjustment to rotate the frame 0.5 degrees as we shot this with camera slightly off-level
