360 Product Image Example Notes

We had dimmed the light on the LumiPad LED Panels (about 10% dim on backlight and about 65% dim on front lights). The dimming on the front lights was in order to minimize reflections on the lenses and dimming on backlight was to minimize light passing through lenses. In the Shutter Stream 360 Product Photography Software we applied the following edits:

Lasso – Cut bottom part of frame and replaced with White
Levels
 – Moved right reference point to a value of 247
Sharpness – increased to 1.8

All editing changes were made in a batch process to the entire 360 image set using ‘Apply to All’ editing feature.

Using the Silver Series MID 360 Product Photography Turntable and Medium 360 Acrylic Riser we used a rotation speed of 1 (48 image capture took ~2 minutes) .

We had shot this on a desktop set up.

Last, we used three white 20 x 30″ white foamboard sheets one on each side of the turntable and one on top of the lighting to eliminate light leakage.
