360 Product View Notes

Although the LumiPad 360 Product Photography Lighting Panels would have done a great job for shooting this Men’s Running Shoe, we wanted to communicate High Key Lighting Technique using our 3X of our LED Studio Lights. We positioned 1X light behind the subject (shoe) and this was set to full power. We then positioned 2X lights up front to illuminate the shoe – these were set at 50% dimming. By doing this, when we set the correct exposure for the product, the background is blown out to white.

We set to shoot 72 frames (one capture every 5-degrees) then after capture we shot a still image of the top and bottom of the show (by leaving camera in same position and tilting the shoe it forward and backwards).

We applied some batch image editing in the Shutter Stream 360 Software. These included:

Shapness: Slightly increased sharpness to enhance quality
: Minimal adjustments to black, white and midtones to adjust colors

During 360 Product View Composition/Creation, we added hotspots to 6 frames that linked to the top and bottom image of the shoe.
