360 Product Photography Shooting Specs

Total Process Time to Create Web-ready 360 Product View: ~6 minutes

Frame Count: 48 frames/360 rotation (1 capture every 7.5 degrees)

Zoom Level: 2X zoom

Lighting Used: Iconasys 4 Light Studio Kit (white backdrop, 2X lights positioned at subject and 2X lights positioned at backdrop to create high key lighting effect). For shooting socks/footwear, we would also have customers consider the Medium LumiPad 360 Lighting Kit (if looking for a smaller scale solution)

Turntable/Software Used: Silver Series MID 360 Product Photography Turntable + Shutter Stream 360 Product Photography Software

Accessory Used: Medium 360 Turntable Acrylic Riser

Camera/Lens Used: Canon Rebel T5/EOS 1200D/Kiss X70 with Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens

360 Product View Notes

We used the Iconasys 4 Light LED Studio Kit to create a High Key Lighting Technique (to shoot 360 image set on white backgrounds). We positioned 2X lights at the background and the other 2 LED lights at the subject (sock). When we set the correct exposure for the product, the background is blown out to white.

We shot a total of 48 frames (automated in a turn, stop, snap workflow) this process took ~1 1/2 minutes. Next, we applied some batch image editing in the Shutter Stream 360 Software. These included:

Levels: Minimal adjustments to white reference point to achieve white on turntable platform surface
Sharpness: Increased Sharpness by 1.5 to enhance image quality
